For several years Albion Park has been a rapidly developing area with the opening of the Centenary Estate. By 1990 the population had increased to the point where a local high school was required. The building of our 9 million dollar school was well publicised and many members of the community became strongly involved in the planning of enrolments, classes and other educational requirements.

The public school system of NSW has three overriding priorities:
-To raise educational standards and levels of educational achievement;
-the provision of a quality education for all, and
-the care and safety of students in its charge.

The learning community of Albion Park High School recognises these goals and sees the effective partnership of students, parents and teachers as the means of achieving it.
