Department of Languages and Intercultural Education (DOLIE) - the starting point for a future that is internationally focused, culturally aware and full of career opportunities.

We offer a variety of courses that provide students with an education in the language and cultures of China, Japan, Indonesia or Korea and the opportunity to experience living in China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea or Taiwan to build language skills and knowledge of the culture.

This knowledge can be combined with a business, education, public health or media degree. Students also have the option to develop their understanding at an undergraduate level of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) or to prepare for academic study through the English Language or Foundation programs.
