DHS - DRIPSTONE HIGH SCHOOL

Dripstone High School today is a comprehensive secondary school catering for students from Year 8 to Year 12. There are some 740 students and 60 staff at this school.

We offer a range of academic and practical subjects to meet the needs and interests of students studying towards either the Northern Territory Year 10 Certificate or the Northern Territory Certificate of Education.

Dripstone High School has excellent facilities for practical subjects such as Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Photography, Home Economics and Technical Studies. As well, there are four computer rooms for student use, with Macintosh and PC machines, and a cluster of computers in the Library.

Our modern Gymnasium accommodates Physical Education, Sport and Drama classes, and is used for major assemblies and Performing Arts productions.

Outdoor facilities include sports ovals, basketball, netball and tennis courts, cricket nets and many shaded areas for student use, in line with the school's Sun Smart policy.
