FACULTY OF EDUCATION, LANGUAGE STUDIES AND SOCIAL WORK

The Faculty of Education, Language Studies and Social Work is comprised of three Departments: Department of Education; Department of Languages and Intercultural Education and the Department of Social Work & Social Policy.

The Faculty is committed to excellence in both teaching and research. It engages in innovative teaching practices environment where both students and staff can develop and enhance their knowledge, understanding and skills. It undertakes research and through participating, consulting and working with the wider community.

The Department also welcomes many international students, offering courses for governments and agencies throughout SE Asia, and has accumulated considerable experience in programs for teaching and skills upgrading through projects funded by the World Bank, The United Nations Development Programs and Australian Aid. At any time, you may expect to have in your classes international students undertaking courses to enhance their knowledge.
