NATIONAL ART SCHOOL

The National Art School has the longest continuing history as a public art school in Australia and is housed in a National Trust complex in the art gallery district of East Sydney.

The degree programs include full-time BFA, BFA Honours and Master of Fine Art (by research) in the studio disciplines of Drawing, Ceramics, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture. Staff are practising artists, art historians or theoreticians. An extensive Public program is also offered and includes Master classes, Summer and Winter schools, short courses and an HSC extension course.
