PITTWATER HIGH SCHOOL

Pittwater High School is located on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches. The closest town is Mona Vale. Pittwater High prides itself on being a Comprehensive Co-Educational High School catering for the needs of all its students from years 7 to 12.

Students receive a broad education at Pittwater High School. A wide range of academic and sporting interests may be pursued. Pittwater High School was the first school to offer surfing as a sport. PHS is one of the few schools in Australia to own a yacht and have sailing as a sport. Pittwater High School has a well appointed Agricultural Plot where students with an interest in the land and farming can pursue horticulture and animal husbandry.

Pittwater High has a proud history of students who have excelled in the Performing Arts and Sport. In 2001 Pitwater High received an Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts from the Director general of Education.

Pittwater High enjoys a sister school relationship with New Trier High School Chicago. A cultural/student exchange program has operated with this school for many years. Many year 10 students have benefited from this program. Exchange programs also exist with Japanese High School.
