Port Hacking High School is one of the premier schools of the Sutherland Shire. It provides a disciplined and exciting learning environment in which students receive individual care and recognition for their achievements.

The proportion of students who complete study for the award of the Higher School Certificate and who undertake further tertiary study is high.

Extension courses are available as well as vocational education courses for students who wish to gain TAFE accreditation.
