Industry Training

Racing Training Australia was formerly a federally recognised body for the provision of training advice on behalf of all codes of the Australian racing industry to the Australian National Training Authority.

Racing Training Australia has developed a strategic plan to ensure that training for the occupations in the racing industry is provided efficiently, directly and appropriately and the stakeholder's needs for training are met. The stakeholders are defined as the racing clubs, industry associations; training providers, and trainees.

Racing Training Australia has developed a Training Package for the occupations in the racing industry. The Training Package has been endorsed by ANTA, and covers the main occupations in the horse and greyhound codes.

Training is a vital part of the industry and underpins survival, growth and continuing success of the industry.
