Rosewood High is a dynamic community based school of approximately 640 students. The school is set in a pleasant country environment only 18 minutes by electric train from Ipswich and 55 minutes by road from Brisbane city.

The curriculum offered at Rosewood State High School provides students with a great deal of choice. Our Junior and Senior Curriculum Programs have been designed with a focus on catering for the wide range of student abilities and interests. Our aim is to provide students with a curriculum that enables them to make informed choices about their future endeavours.

Curriculum support is provided through, Learning Support and Extension staff, Special Needs classes, Guidance and Career Counselling services, a School Nurse, Behaviour Management Support Teachers and dedicated Teacher Aides. In Years 8-10 each student has a Course Adviser to provide assistance with the development of individual course plans. These plans enable students, parents and staff to determine unit choices that are best suited to the individual.
