Strathfield Girls High School is a comprehensive high school with over 1100 students and about 100 staff. Many of our students come from non-English speaking backgrounds and we value the diversity of cultures represented in our school community.

Our school has a proud tradition of providing quality education for students of varying abilities, interests and skills in an environment which places an emphasis on the general well being and academic progress of each student.

We encourage students to participate fully in their school life. They have many opportunities to extend their talents by entering competitions in writing, public speaking, debating, art, drama, the sciences, mathematics, problem solving and mock trials, and by becoming involved in activities such as the school choir and orchestra, the drama ensembles, the school musical, the Student Representative Council, community service programs and state knockout sporting competitions.
