Post Secondary Guardianship

For families with students under 18, studying in pre-university, TAFE or university Under Australian Government regulations, students under 18 require a guardian.

Having an approved guardian is a compulsory requirement for obtaining a student visa, for a student under 18 years

Secondary Guardianship
Students studying overseas are isolated from family and the normal social supports.
Away from home, often for the first time, they are faced with situations they may not have the maturity to handle even if they were still in their home country.

Support is essential 
This support must be caring, accessible and offer both
• special care when difficulties arise, and
• the ongoing care usually given by family and friends. 

This support is all important to the successful adjustment and the stable psychological development of young well balanced people.

The Australian Government requires that all international students who are under 18 years of age must have a legal guardian to look after them and help them to manage their study and life.

We, at Student Guardian Service, offer this service of guardianship and provide comprehensive student care.
