THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME AUSTRALIA - ABORIGINAL EDUCATION UNIT - BROOME CAMPUS

The Broome Campus offers a range of pathways, undergraduate and postgraduate courses drawn from the Colleges of Business, Education, and Health.

Notre Dame combines high quality pathways and university teaching with a focus on the preparation for employment in a wide range of professions. It aims to develop young people intellectually, to give them the opportunity to enhance their faith and values and to accept the challenge of community service in their lives.

To help ensure that they balance professional education with academic breadth, all Notre Dame undergraduate students study theology, Aboriginal People and the Spirit of Reconciliation as part of their course.

A key objective of the Broome Campus is to provide strong support for the process of reconciliation. The Campus provides an educational arena for non-Aboriginal people to relate directly to Aboriginal people and to learn about their law, history and culture.
