Hi just wondering what people's opinions are on the subject of if Government or Catholic Primary Schools are better in any way for children? I have four children aged 9;7;3 and 16months. They older to go to a Government school at present, though my husband and I are considering if a Catholic School would be better.
We have a lovely principle and so far their teachers have been great also(with the exception on my daughters current teacher). We have pressure from my Father in-law to send them to a Catholic school as "they will not amount to anything if they don't",his words.
We have had some problems with bullying, and my daughters maths and sons reading need improvement. We also have some less than desirable parents at the school (restraining orders, and drug deals taking place).I am a mess over this and only want whats best for them. Can anyone help. Oh and my son aged 7, is very upset about having to move schools.
