The St Gregory’s College Mission Statement states, 'The purpose of St Gregory’s is to provide and promote holistic education which strives to enhance the spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural and physical potential of the young people'.

Through our long tradition of sporting participation and success the College continues this holistic development of students in achievement, skill development, physical development, teamwork/group dynamics, sportsmanship, commitment, dedication and, most importantly, intrinsic enjoyment.

The College caters its sporting programmes to suit the needs of individuals, whether they are sporting champions or simply playing sport for enjoyment and recreation. The College sport programme includes a wide range of representative sports as well as regular Thursday afternoon leisure activities.
