Since its foundation in 1890, Korowa Anglican Girls’School has been consistently recognised as one of Victoria’s leading independent girls’ schools. Perhaps the most valuable lesson a student can learn at Korowa is confidence. Here, we have created an environment where girls can feel confident to explore and express their talents and individuality and where they build resilience, open mindedness and a positive attitude.
Our focus is on the individual student – her talents, her aspirations and her needs. We pay sharp attention to fundamental education principles, as our students’ results attest. Korowa’s VCE results normally rank amongst the highest in Victoria, and external tests of literacy and numeracy standards in earlier years outstrip national averages.
We also aim for Korowa graduates to be responsible global citizens with a social conscience and sense of justice, demonstrating initiative, confidence and respect for others. A proudly non-selective and inclusive School, Korowa offers a balanced, contemporary curriculum with a strong emphasis on building the skills needed for lifelong learning.
