Southbank Institute of Technology has long been one of Brisbane's leading education centres. It services Brisbane's thriving Central Business District and inner metropolitan areas, and enjoys an international reputation particularly in its Key Centres of Excellence in ELICOS (English Language), Business, Tourism and Hospitality (COTAH),Technology and Engineering, Community Services and Health, and E-Commerce.

Each year around 33,000 students including many from overseas enrol in the Southbank Institute's world class training facilities which are spread across four campuses in Southbank, COTAH, Kangaroo Point and Morningside.
