This school has excellent facilities including tennis courts, large air conditioned gym/drama complex, four fully networked computer laboratories with access to the Internet, specialist art, hospitality, technology and music areas, a large information centre, basketball/netball courts and eight well equipped Science laboratories.

Darwin High School has a capacity of 1150 students and provides NT Board of Studies and SSABSA approved courses to students in grades 8 to 12.
