Established in 1919, Dandenong High School is the oldest school, public or private, in Melbourne's outer east.

Dandenong High School continues a long tradition of emphasizing student academic achievement, and the gaining of qualifications, whilst offering a very wide range of additional activities, encouraging citizenship and leadership. The School has an Accelerated Learning Program and a very strong program of help in English to non-English speaking students. It also offers assistance to students with learning difficulties in Mathematics and English.
