CAVENDISH ROAD STATE HIGH SCHOOL
'Nil sine pulvere'
Acting Principal - Mr. Scot Steinhardt
Established in 1952, Cavendish Road State High School was the second high school to be built in the suburbs of Brisbane. Situated in extensively landscaped grounds, the school is a short distance from the centre of Brisbane and is serviced by an excellent network of bus routes.
Our school is known internationally for its innovative and engaging curriculum. (We host many dignitaries from South East Asia and Europe who wish to access our programs). Partnerships with Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology allow eligible students to exit Year 12 with credit, HECs free, towards their university degree.
While we have some of the best facilities and programs of any High School, the greatest thing we can offer your child is a positive environment. We are serious about promoting an atmosphere which encourages all students to become involved and 'having a go' no matter what their strengths and weaknesses. Here at Cavendish Road State High School we are proud of our school and what it offers the youth of Australia.
