Principal: Mrs J Hoyle
The college is a rural, co-educational year 9 to 13 high school serving the township of Te Aroha. Our roll is usually around 400 with most of students coming from the Matamata-Piako district. We are funded as a decile 5 school on the scale from 1 to 10.
We are lucky to have a multi-cultural roll including European, Maori, Pacifica, Indian, Cambodian, Zimbabuean, Dutch and Swiss. We also have small groups of students from Japan, Korea and Thailand on long and short term visits to our school.
Over our 49 year history as a college we have achieved high levels of success in everything that we do from academic, to cultural, sporting and leadership aspects of achievement. We have a long list of past pupils who have gone on to international and national recognition in a wide range of careers, cultural and sporting areas.
