UOW was founded on Engineering and Technology and on Industry partnerships, and our graduates have contributed greatly, both to the economy of the Illawarra and Internationally, through their engineering expertise.

Our degree programs are accredited by Engineers Australia, the Professional Engineering body in Australia, and this entitles our graduates to practise as Professional Engineers around the world.
