The University of Southern Queensland delivers some of the world's leading Master's programs by distance education. In 1999, the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) awarded USQ the Institutional Prize of Excellence for its distance education programs.

Economic transactions of many kinds are presently being effected using the Internet. The volume of such transactions will grow very rapidly during the next few years. To satisfy this demand, we have introduced the Master of e-Business, which is intended to build upon an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, economics or a related area and produce graduates who can operate confidently in the electronic business environment.
