The Mission of the Centre for Australian Financial Institutions (CAFI) is to facilitate research consultancy, training and education related to financial institutions and regional development issues.

CAFI is a multi-disciplinary Centre within the Faculty of Business at the University of Southern Queensland.

CAFI was established in response to a need identified by members of the financial institutions' industry for quality independent research, training and education into issues of concern to the financial services marketplace.
