AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL HOTEL SCHOOL

Established in 1995, in close affiliation with the prestigious Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, the Australian International Hotel School in Canberra operates its own commercial hotel property on site, the four-star boutique Hotel Kurrajong, as a training facility for students. Students also undertake paid industry placements with employers in Australian and abroad.

AIHS offers a choice of two three-year Bachelor of Business degrees in International Hotel Management or International Event Management, both quality endorsed by the University of Queensland, as well as a Masters of Hotel Management. The undergraduates degrees are delivered in fast-track, intensive mode in two and a half years with articulation pathways to the Masters program.

AIHS has a unique location in the heart of the Australian capital, Canberra, a popular tourism destination and a well-recognised university city offering great student resources and lifestyle. Canberra is also an ideal location to teach International Event Management as it plays host to national celbrations and major events.
