Established in 1991, the Centre for Adolescent Health is recognised nationally and internationally for its commitment and achievements in advancing young people's health and wellbeing.

The Centre for Adolescent Health is committed to working with the schools and community groups that teach and support young people.

This takes the form of professional development around adolescent health and welfare, as well as consultancies on improving organisational practice and policy development

Education and TrainingSchools and teachers play a critical role in the health and wellbeing of young people. Communities too are fundamental to creating a protective environment and a sense of belonging and connectedness for young people. The Centre for Adolescent Health can deliver talks and workshops, and offers training and consultations on a range of issues to meet the needs of different groups (both professional and non-professional) in the community.

Practice and Learning aims to increase the capacity of the broader community to meet the needs of young people. It does this through the translation of research and practice knowledge into a range of learning experiences that includes post graduate programs, professional development and workforce development.
