QUT's Faculty of Information Technology is an established leader in high-quality degree programs and research for the IT profession. As Australia's first dedicated IT school, the Faculty has pioneered the development and delivery of computing courses in Australia. Based at the Gardens Point (city) campus in Brisbane, Australia, the Faculty is the largest provider of information technology degree courses in Queensland.

In keeping with QUT's reputation as the university for the real-world, the Faculty prides itself on its close connections with industry and IT community. Initiatives such as the Cooperative Education Program and the Industry Affiliate Program allow the Faculty of IT to deliver the practical experience that balances the theory in our courses and to undertake research that solves real industry problems.
