High school for years 7 - 12

There are many courses on offer at Inverell High School. The following is a selection of these courses: English, Mathematics, Science, PE, Social Sciences, Music, Visual Arts, Drama, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, Computing.

Students are encouraged to participate in sport of all kinds at Inverell High School.
In addition to the compulsory weekly session of sport, held on Wednesday afternoon, students are able to try out for and participate in school representative teams. Students are also encouraged to try out for and participate in Regional and State teams where possible.

The Inverell High School Support Unit is located at Inverell High School which is a medium sized, public, comprehensive, rural secondary school that offers a diverse curriculum and encourages positive, inclusive educational practice. It is a district resource for high school students with learning disabilities and learning difficulties.
