St Mary’s celebrates 25 years of excellence in education in 2011-02-22.

Situated in the southern suburbs of Cairns, St Mary’s boasts a proud reputation for providing quality Catholic co-education for the families of this exciting and dynamic region. Opened in 1986, St Mary’s Catholic College caters for an enrolment of almost 850 students.

Each individual at the College is given the opportunity to pursue academic excellence and personal fulfillment in a culturally rich and caring environment.

High expectations held by caring staff help nurture students into maturity. Pastoral care permeates all aspects of College life. St Mary’s offers a wide range of subjects, supported by good resources and able and enthusiastic teachers.

Students in their Junior years are offered a vibrant curriculum of core and elective subjects.

In the Senior School a comprehensive range of Queensland Studies Authority and School subjects are offered, along with Vocational Education and Training School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship Programs.
